Ned

Après avoir suivi une formation en arts graphiques, Ned fonde le collectif 9e Concept avec Stéphane Carricondo et Jerk 45. L’univers de Ned est foisonnant et mouvant : les objets et instruments du quotidien côtoient un monde fantastique rempli de personnages tout droit sortis d’un imaginaire "nedelleyen". Mélange de symboles celtiques (de par ses origines bretonnes) et de signes inspirés par l’art tribal, son trait est singulier. Dans ses derniers travaux, la couleur devient plus fondue, moins vive, elle joue de la matière et de ses rendus ; l’univers devient moins saturé.

 

After training in graphic arts, Ned founded the 9th Concept company with Stéphane Carricondo and Jerk 45. Ned’s world is abundant and mobile : objects and tools from daily life find themselves  in a fantastic world peopled with characters straight out of his fertile imagination. A blend of Celtic symbols (from his native Brittany) and signs inspired by tribal art, the stroke of his pen  is unique. In his most recent works, colours are dimmed and more blended, they adapt to the material and its rendering,  the universe is less saturated.
